The Teardrop

Falling down my face

You are the epitome of my being.

How?

You are my sadness

As well as my happiness, yes,

My joy as well as my sorrow.

You are my confusion…

Sometimes you fall straight down,

Sometimes you wedge yourself in the small crevice between my nose and my cheek

Sometimes you only release yourself from one eye-

Of course, I never really know what your plans are.

You are my hope

When nothing tangible gives me faith,

You appear in order to create a concrete image out of an abstract notion

That in all reality and logic may or may not ever happen.

Most of all, you are my release.

Because no matter your purpose,

No matter your method,

You always come to the same conclusion.

You find yourself dried upon my face,

You have been soaked back into my skin

Your objective-

To travel through my soul until one day

You shall fall again.

LCD Technology

LCD, (Liquid Crystal Display) the technology that took over our world about five years ago is found in most of the devices we use today. Our TVs, cell phones and computers (just to name a few) all operate by the use of LCD technologies. The possibilities are endless and quite promising. LCD works by the passing of each LCD pixel (made up of three sub-pixels in red, green and blue) through white backlighting in order to appear. The amount of light determines that passes through each pixel determines what color is produced. As a result of this innovative form of color reproduction, a single LCD pixel triad can reproduce 16.8 million colors. This means that we get high resolution, outstanding image stability, and a crisp, bright image. Consumers who anticipate viewing a lot of text as well as graphics often choose LCD products. Additionally, an LCD TV lasts 50,000 hours.
